Please feel free to 'phone or e-mail our office team at any stage in your decision process. They will be happy to help with any general enquiries or difficulties that you may have.
If you think that it would be helpful, the office team will arrange for you to be visited by a customer adviser, whose job is to make sure that you have all the information that you require. During this visit they will offer you:
- Written information on our prices
- The opportunity to discuss any questions that you may have
- Help in deciding where you would locate a water softener
- A water test and written quote
- The option to place your order
There is no pressure selling . So if you don't want to buy anything, just say so. Or if you would like more time to decide or to compare prices, we will be happy to ‘phone you a couple of weeks later. If you change your mind after placing an order, you are free to cancel at any time.
Installation and Salt Delivery
KindWater employ our own installation engineers because poor installation is the main cause of problems with new water softeners. We will arrange a convenient time for installation when you place your order. A typical installation takes half a day and includes a hard water drinking tap.
About 20% of homes (generally those that are older or with a pressurised water system) require additional labour and materials. We try to keep these charges to a minimum. We always give a firm quote before work starts and you are free to cancel your order with no charge if you decide not to go ahead.
The installation engineer will supply you with enough salt for the first few weeks. During this time you will receive the first delivery of salt to an agreed location, for example your garage. Additional deliveries will then be made at agreed intervals (typically 8-12 months) or you can order salt when you are ready. You do not need to be present to receive salt deliveries.
Payment and Cancellation
If you buy the water softener you can pay in full by cheque or credit card upon installation. Or for a flat fee of £30 you can spread the cost over 10 monthly payments.
Monthly rental payments are collected by direct debit from your bank account.
Salt and filters can be paid for when ordered. Or rental customers can make monthly budget payments with their rental direct debit.
