Filters, Taps and Coolers - Ordering & Installation
Ordering - Reverse osmosis systems, water filters, taps and coolers can be ordered by calling 0845 3700 420. Payment will be requested by card over the telephone or you can pay be cheque with installation.
With your agreement we will then post replacement filters (with instructions) to you automatically at regular intervals (normally every 12 months, depending on choice of filter). Payment can then be made either by card over the phone or cheque in the post.
Installation - All replacement filters can be easily connected on a DIY basis. KindWater do not normally provide a service to install replacement filters as this is easily undertaken in only a few minutes and without tools.
Taps and coolers can be provided either for DIY installation or installed by a KindWater engineer. For these products the installation service is only offered in Cambridgeshire, north Essex , Suffolk , Norfolk and east Hertfordshire.
DIY installation of drinking tap kits and coolers is simple and should take less than half an hour. All of the materials that should be required are supplied.
- Connect the self tapping saddle valve to a nearby drinking water supply and secure.
- Drill a small hole through sink or work surface.
- Assemble the tap, locate through the hole and secure OR thread the tube through hole for cooler.
- Connect the flexible water tube via the filter to the tap or cooler.
DIY installation of the three-way mixing tap is more demanding because of the requirement to reconnect the existing hot and cold supplies. Depending on your existing plumbing, you may also require additional plumbing materials. You may therefore prefer to ask a plumber to undertake this task.
